A whole continent of joy as far as winemaking is concerned. In terms of terroir, grape variety and wine styles, Australia has more notes to its didgereedoo than all the other southern hemisphere countries put together and it gives France and Italy a real run for their money too! There's more to it than that though and, despite stereotypical images of the Aussies as beer guzzlers, they really do love their wine. Their relaxed, humorous, experimental and personality filled approach to all aspects of wine production makes them and their wines a constant pleasure to experience.
