The winery is situated in the heart of the oldest area of the Chianti Classico region. Vineyards are planted at an altitude of between 350 and 450 metres above sea level with south, south-west exposure, producing wines with fine acidity and freshness, and 80% of the vineyard consists of new plantings (between 5 and 12 years), while the remainder are old vines planted in the 1970s. The predominant variety is Sangiovese, with a section of the vineyard dedicated to Merlot. Wines are complex, intense and yet restrained in style.
