Beautiful, crazy, passionate nation that is responsible for many of the world's greatest wines.Italy has a million wineries and a million grape varieties that may be an exaggeration but it feels that way sometimes! and it would be the work of several lifetimes to truly come to grips with it all. In those terms then we may have only scratched the surface here at SG but underneath it all we've managed to find some genuinely wonderful wines and wineries!
