Reuilly (don't confuse it with Burgundy's Rully) is an appellation that's been growing like the clappers over the last 20 years. It's no one trick pony either, producing as it does a sizeable amount of red and rosé wine (from Pinot Noir) but it's best trick, loved in the UK and the UK wine trade generally, is its excellent Sauvignon Blancs. They perhaps never reach the heights of it's more illustrious neighbours Sancerre and Puilly Fumé to the east but in terms of the price to quality ratio the wines represent extraordinary value for money.
