Tasting notes

A beautiful gold colour with hints of flowers and exotic fruits (lychees and peaches) on the nose. the palate is well balanced and supple with a delightfully fresh finish. Very versatile - drink with foie gras, Asian-fusion dishes, strong cheeses and fruit tarts.

Production method

Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel is followed by short ageing in stainless steel tanks.

Cave de Kientzheim-Kaysersberg is based in the Kaysersberg Valley, to the north west of Colmar, in the heart of Alsace. It is a cooperative with 120 growers spread across 160 hectares of vines. Amongst these include some of the most famous Lieux-Dits and Grand Cru vineyards of the region. With an average of just over 1.3ha per grower, attention to detail in the vineyard is not only possible, but tangible. The wines are hugely expressive and beautifully defined, really showcasing the best of Alsace fruit. These attractively presented wines represent amongst the finest quality to price ratio from Alsace on the market today.
