Tasting notes

Dalca Merlot is dark ruby-purple in colour. The nose is pleasantly complex with ripe black cherry and plum fruit aromas, spiced fruitcake and earthy nuances. On the palate it is mouthfilling and smooth, with ripe sweet fruit flavours of plums and currants. The structure is generous, smooth and long.

Production method

Grapes are de-stemmed and crushed before undergoing temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is matured for a short period in stainless steel to conserve the freshness and purity of the fruit.
