Tasting notes

Pale lemon in colour with a bouquet of citrus and peach, with subtle floral and mineral notes. Round and fruity on the palate, with a delicate 'spritz' and persistent finish.

Production method

Temperature-controlled fermentation followed by maturation in vat on the fine lees.

Producer notes

The Domaine is situated in the French Alps, and the wines are light and floral with a unique, refreshing mineral flavour deriving from the Domaine's south-facing vineyards. The Savoie region benefits from a very specific topography, dominated by rockfall from Mont Granier. The vine, with the help of dedicated vignerons, has gradually colonised this extraordinary terroir – comprising mainly limestone and clay soils – which has an exceptionally sunny climate. Roussette, with its notes of honey, hazelnuts and almonds, and Apremont ("liquefied joie de vivre" – Decanter), with its slight 'spritz', are unusual and delicious and make very fine aperitifs.
