Tasting notes

Pale lemon in colour with an intense fruity bouquet of bananas, peaches and passion fruit. On the palate it is light, fresh, fruity and easy-drinking, with an elegant, lingering finish. Enjoy as an aperitif, or with light fish dishes, sefood and salads.

Production method

Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by short maturation in stainless steel. This is a wine for dirinking young - within a year of vintage.

Producer notes

Portugal is a land of contrasts, from the undulating plains of Alentejo in the south through the granite mountains of the Dão and the picturesque Douro valley, to the pleasant green land of Vinho Verde in the far North. Sogrape strongly believe in indigenous grape varieties, and find the best results come from blends rather than single varietals. The Callabriga regional range continues to make an impact with award-winning Dao, Douro and Alentejo wines, while Quinta de Azevedo is the leading premium brand of Vinho Verde in the UK.
